Welcome to the registration page for Concrete 2021, the Biennial Conference hosted by the Concrete Institute of Australia.

Concrete 2021 is going virtual. Experience an engaging and exciting virtual program including keynote speakers, invited speakers and 150 technical presentations. This year you can plan the program around your own schedule giving you greater access to more presentations than ever before – what’s even better is you will have access to 100% of the program content, on demand post Conference! All persons intending to access the virtual sessions must complete an online registration form. Please read the below information before you complete the registration form.

Early Bird Registrations
To be entitled to the early registration fee you must have registered and paid by 13 August 2021.

Academic Registrations
Academics will be asked to register using the email address of the faculty they are affiliated with. 

Student Registrations
A student is defined as a holder of a student identification card from a recognised tertiary or secondary educational institution or a holder of an international student card (submitted in English). Students must be studying full time to qualify for the discounted rate. A copy of your student identification card must be sent to the Conference Managers via email to Without this, the full registration fee will be charged.

Registrations during the Conference
Please be aware, if you register on the day of the Conference, there will be a slight delay in your login information being processed. Please allow 60 minutes for your platform login details to be made available.

Registration Terms and Conditions


The full virtual registration fee entitles all delegates to the following:

  • All sessions across 4 days of Conference including:
    • 4 Keynote presenters
    • 4 Invited speakers
    • 150 technical paper presentations across 4 streams
    • ePoster spotlight sessions
    • Virtual access to Sponsors and Exhibitors throughout the conference
    • Virtual networking opportunities
    • Access to Conference proceedings for download (all abstracts and full papers included in the program)
    • Access to all sessions and presentations ‘on demand’ for one month
    • 4 days of CPD opportunities

Registration confirmation

Your completed registration and successful payment will be acknowledged via email with confirmation of your requirements according to your registration form. 

Access to sessions

Prior to commencement of sessions you will be provided with information on how to access the virtual platform and Conference proceedings.

Credit/Debit Card
Please note the preferred method of payment is by credit or debit card. Accepted cards: MasterCard, Visa and American Express. Please note all transactions by credit/debit card will appear on your statement as payment to ‘Conference by Arinex Pty Ltd’.

Electronic Funds Transfer
If you are unable to pay by credit/debit card, please advise the Conference Managers upon completion of the registration form. An invoice will be sent to you for payment within fourteen (14) business days. This payment option will be available up until Monday, 26 July 2021.

Note: there will be a $150 administration fee charged for refunds on duplicate registration payments and/or name changes.

Cancellations must be notified in writing to the Conference Managers.

Registration Fees: Before Saturday, 5 June 2021 will incur an A$150.00 cancellation fee. Before Monday, 26 July 2021 will receive a 50% refund of fees paid. After Tuesday, 27 July 2021 there will be no refund.

The program is correct at the time of publishing. The organisers reserve the right to delete, modify or alter items from the program or to delete, modify or alter any aspect of the Conference timetabling and delivery at their sole discretion and without notice. Neither the host organisation(s) nor the Conference Managers will accept any liability for any loss or inconvenience caused to any party consequent to such changes.

The Conference Managers reserve the right to use any recordings whether audio or video and/or any photographs taken at any stage during the Conference for promotional, advertising or reporting of the Conference and/or its content at their sole discretion.

Australia operates under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), as amended, and the Privacy Amendment (Notifiable Data Breaches), 2017.  The objective of these is to protect the right of the individual to privacy of their information.

Europe operates under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (Regulation (EU) 2016/679), a regulation in EU law on data protection and privacy for all individuals within the European Union. The GDPR aims primarily to give protection to citizens over their personal data.  The legislation was adopted on 27 April 2016.

The Conference Managers comply with these legislations and are committed to protect the right of the individual to privacy of their information.

Arinex will not sell your personal information to third parties.  If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please email us and we will promptly correct the information.  You may also withdraw your consent for use of your information by advice to us in writing.

 Why do we wish you to provide your information?

We require your information to facilitate provision of information to you regarding the Conference and to facilitate your participation in the Conference.  Information collected in respect of your proposed participation in any aspect of the Conference will be used for the purposes listed below.  You can give or withhold your consent for each or all of these uses.  Please indicate your preferences when completing your registration form but please note that we will be unable to forward any information relating to the Conference or to communicate with you regarding your registration if you select ‘no’ to point 1.

What we will do with your information?

  1. Planning and conduct of the Conference including arrangements for your participation (e.g. accommodation booking);
  2. In the Delegate List published for the Conference;
  3. May also be provided to organisers of future occurrences of this Conference;
  4. May be used to provide you with information of other relevant events in your area of interest.

Important Notes:

  • The parties who will have access to your information (subject to your preference selections on above points) are the Conference Managers, the Conference host organisation (points 1 and point 4), delegates, sponsors and exhibitors of the Conference (point 2) and any future organisers of the Conference (point 3).

The parties mentioned above will rely on your above consent indications for the purposes of compliance.

  • You may withdraw your granular consent at any time by notice in writing to the Conference Managers.
  • You are entitled to access the information held by written application to the Conference Managers.

It is the policy of Arinex and the Conference Organising Committee that all attendees are able to participate in its activities and are able to enjoy an environment that is free from discrimination and harassment. The Program Committee is committed to making Concrete 2021’s virtual Conference productive and enjoyable for everyone, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, nationality or religion. Harassment of any form will not be tolerated and might result in the perpetrators being permanently removed from the Concrete 2021 virtual Conference.

The code of conduct outlined here applies to all participants, without exception. Participation in any of Concrete 2021’s activities constitutes implicit acceptance and understanding of the code of conduct by the participants. Ignorance of the code will not be considered an attenuating circumstance in dealing with any type of infringement of the code as outlined.

All communication must be appropriate for a professional audience that includes people of many different backgrounds. Inappropriate use of sexist, racist or ageist language and imagery, and / or any other commentary that is or can be perceived to be discriminatory in any way, is not permitted. Inappropriate language or behaviour include (but are not limited to) jokes, sustained disruption of talks or other events, sexual attention or innuendo, deliberate intimidation, stalking, and photography or recording of an individual without consent. Offensive comments about race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size or religion, will not be tolerated.

The Organiser and Host/s of the Concrete Institute of Australia’s Biennial National Conference (Concrete 2021) reserve the right to remove from the virtual platform at any time any attendee deemed to be causing, or potentially causing, a disturbance or exhibiting disruptive or inappropriate behaviour. Such removal does not constitute a right to refund of any fees paid.
